And so, almost without realizing it, 2024 has gone… and what a year it has been! 🎆 A year that for some has flown by and for others has become eternal, but that in the end finds us all looking back with a mixture of emotions. There are those who bid it farewell with overflowing joy, others with restrained sadness and many -like me- with a hint of indifference sprinkled with humor. 😅 I have never been a lover of these holidays, I admit that without qualms. But, even so, these dates have something special, something that, although brief, touches our hearts.
🌟 One last respite before normalcy
There are just a few hours left before the calendar returns us to “normalcy.” 🎄🎁 Tomorrow, with Three Kings Day, the festive cycle will close and we will return to routine, but not before stopping to reflect. Because although many of us are overwhelmed by these dates, they have the magic of bringing us together. And that, yes or yes, is beautiful. ❤️ To see how families come together, how friends share and, above all, how the furry ones -those faithful companions of life- enjoy themselves as if the whole world were theirs. 🐾💖 Those moments are the ones that are really worth it, the ones that illuminate the grayest days with a warm and sincere light.
However, there are also the burdens that this year has left us with. Because not everything has been easy. We are still dragging the consequences of those COVID credits that we were promised as salvation and that we are now paying by the handful, while we see the lack of empathy of those who should have protected us. 💸 Those days when anger invades us, when each new scandal reminds us that there are those who got rich with our difficulties, are not easy to digest. But you know what? Today is not the day to drown in that anger. Today is a day to be grateful for the good, to embrace what this 2024 gave us, because yes, there was also much to celebrate. 🌈
🌟 The moments that made 2024 shine
If there is one thing I can say with total sincerity, it is that this year brought us many good things. And the best of all were you. Yes, you, dear customers, friends and faithful four-legged companions. 🐕 Thanks to you, MasTorrencito is not just a place; it is a home. 🏡 This year more than 2,000 people and around 2,500 dogs passed through here. That says it fast, doesn’t it? 😄 Each one of you left your mark on this place, either with laughter, anecdotes, unique moments or simply with the affection you always bring.
Seeing the dogs running free, tails held high, sniffing every corner as if for the first time, is priceless. 🐕🌳 Those moments remind me why I do what I do. Seeing their happiness, their energy and that way of enjoying life with a simplicity that sometimes we forget, inspires me. And sharing those moments with you, listening to their stories, laughing together, is what makes this job more than a job. It is a privilege. ❤️
This 2024, although complicated in some aspects, left us many reasons to smile. And best of all, we are still here, standing firm, eager to face a 2025 that hopefully will be even better. 🎉 But before looking ahead, I want to pause for a moment to tell you something that is not said enough: Thank you! 🙌 Without you, MasTorrencito would not be what it is. Without your visits, your love and your support, this place would not be the warm haven that so many call home.
🌈 Dreaming of 2025 by MasTorrencito
What do I expect from next year? Well, as the saying goes, “Virgencita, virgencita… may I stay as I am.” 🙏 But if I could ask for anything else, it would be a little peace of mind. 💸 Yes, I would love for luck to smile on me and give me that extra help to get the loans off my back, to breathe a little easier. And, of course, I also dream of being able to make some improvements at MasTorrencito: fixing up the back houses, discovering that mysterious wine cellar that I suspect is hidden under these lands… who knows what treasures we might find! 🏚️🔍
But beyond the material, what I want most is something we all need: health. Health for me, for you, for our families and, of course, for those furry ones that fill our lives with joy. 🐾✨ May this 2025 keep them happy, healthy and far from diseases. May we continue to see those tails wagging with enthusiasm and those faces full of love that fill our souls so much. ❤️
And above all, I hope for something very simple but very important: to see you all again. Because the best of life is not in the big gestures, but in the small moments we share together. 🌟 Moments of laughter, hugs, conversations in the warmth of a fireplace or under the starry sky. 🌌 The best… we will share them together !!!!!
🎆 A toast to what’s to come. Bye Bye Bye 2024… Hellouuuuuuuu 2025 by Mastorrencito
So here we are, saying goodbye to 2024 with a heart full of gratitude, nostalgia and hope. Because although it leaves us with a few pesos and many reflections, it also gives us a chest full of unforgettable memories. 💖 And now, with our eyes set on the horizon, let’s toast to a 2025 full of laughter, adventures, stories to tell and, above all, shared moments.
Thank you for being part of this story, for bringing your energy and for making MasTorrencito such a special place. 🏡🐾 I hope that this new year fills you with happiness, that the dreams you keep in secret come true and that life keeps finding us together, sharing the most valuable thing we have: our time.
Happy New Year to all! 🥂✨ May 2025 be as wonderful as we imagine it to be… or even better! 🌟🎉
From MasTorrencito we wish you a good day and that your dogs accompany you !!!!
